Our Management Team

As an Internet entrepreneur for about 20 years, Mark has led 3 companies from start-up with a single individual to teams of over 60. Mark is focused exclusively on capital efficient recurring revenue models combing SaaS, UI design, process management and online efficiency and productivity solutions. In 2004, along with the help of Tom Edwards (current Interim CFO), Mark as CEO and Founder, sold his organically grown, SaaS software company, Recruiting Solutions International, to then Public Company Ceridian Corp.

Surfing, sailing, snowboarding and fly fishing in saltwater are among favored activities when away from the office.

Mr. Edwards provides a blend of CFO services to Vision Local Media. Traditionally, his services range from VC financing transactions, board room presentations, audit coordination, SaaS busiuness financial modeling, exit planning, and sale-side coordination. Tom was Mark Henninger's counterpart and CFO at Recruiting Solutions International, a SaaS company providing applicant tracking services and other related software to human resource departments. Together, Mark and Tom took RSI from $500K in revenues to $8 million and subsequently the sale of RSI's in April of 2004. Tom helped managed the strategic sale of business: negotiation, presentations, due diligence, financial modeling, and ultimately the transaction worth $11m to the company.

Andy has been architecting and developing web based applications since 1994. Since moving to Denver in 1999, he has provided contract programming for most of the top web development firms in the metro area. He joined Denver Website Designs for a two week contract in 2010 and has been shackled there ever since. When Andy is offered work release, he enjoys tennis, golf, snowmobiling, skiing, martinis, and contemporary art. When visiting our office, please bring donations of bar soap and Navy strength liquor to help support our programming team! ;)

Jared has been working in web & print design since 2007, and was the first full-time employee at Denver Website Designs. During his time here, he's been primarily focused on front-end design & development, with an emphasis on user experience. When Jared isn't analyzing hundreds of lines of cascading style sheets, he likes to spend his time in the mountains. Hiking, camping, fishing, biking, snowboarding, and snowmobiling are a few of his favorite activities - and taking photographs of everything along the way.

After graduating from the University of Montana with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2011, Jordan moved to Austin, TX to pursue a career in web development. After living in Austin for 6 years he moved to Denver to get back to the mountains. Shortly thereafter, he was brought onboard the DWD team as a software developer. When he isn't coding software, Jordan enjoys skiing, fishing, mountain biking, and basically anything that gets him outside in the mountains.

Erika graduated from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2012 with her MBA while working in the financial aid department as the scholarship and VA manager. After ending her career in higher education after 10 years, Erika ventured onto more accounting-based positions, ultimately ending up at DWD working in account and project management. When she is not at work or out looking for the 3 deathly hallows of the wizarding world, she loves to hang out with her new husband and their 2 furbabies. She also enjoys camping, swimming, and being in the mountains whenever possible!

Starting his sales career before graduating college, Alec has familiarity with the challenges and needs of a technical sales team, and has worked extensively with many different and niche customers. Alec is passionate about selling what others can't. With a track record nurturing highly skilled and successful salespeople, as well as identifying growth opportunities in a variety of markets over the last 6+ years, Alec is thrilled to be a part of Denver Website Designs, selling business solutions you need to operate more efficiently!

Rachel graduated from Western Michigan University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations and Event Management. After graduation, Rachel ventured to Denver, Colorado to pursue her career in Client Services, Digital Media, and Account Management, and landed her role at Denver Website Designs. When she is not at work, she loves to hang with friends, go to the beach, enjoy family time, and walk her cocker spaniel, Cullen!

Ben graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010. After venturing back to New York where he is from, Ben decided the appeal of the mountains and Denver was too strong and came back. He started doing web design work in late 2019 and after a few years teaching software development, started with DWD in late 2021. When he isn’t working on and updating sites, Ben is either in the mountains or spending time with his fiancé Julie and their dog Cosmo.
